Privacy policy

Lash Social Studio is the community and courses app from Lash Social / The Real Look. This policy covers the Studio app only — purchases made through our Shopify shop are covered by the shop's own privacy policy.

• Account details: name, email address and username.
• Profile details you add: photo, bio and city.
• Community content: posts, comments, polls and votes, status stories, and GIF/sticker reactions.
• Direct messages you send and receive.
• Media you upload, such as post images and status stories.
• Social activity: follows and member ratings.
• Course activity: progress, entitlements and redeemed access codes.
• Device and session information used to keep you signed in securely.

When you search for a GIF, your search query is sent to GIPHY to return results. GIFs you pick for posts, statuses or reactions are stored as GIPHY references. GIPHY's own privacy policy applies to those requests.

We use your data to run the app: your account, the community feed, messaging, courses and notifications. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use third-party advertising or ad tracking.

We share data only with the service providers that run the app (hosting, authentication and storage, such as Supabase), or when the law requires it. Community content you post is visible to other signed-in members.

We keep your data while your account is active. Access is protected by row-level security rules, and media uploads are stored under owner-scoped paths. Status stories expire automatically after 24 hours.

You can permanently delete your account any time in the app: Profile → Edit profile → Delete account. Deletion removes your profile and the content tied to it.
